Now THAT was a Fun Run!
We cannot thank our Forest Park community of family and friends enough for the support you have shown our school over the last few weeks! We are so grateful that our love for Forest Park runs deep and comes from far and wide. This year, donations came from more than 25 states as well as Puerto Rico, D.C., and even the Northern Mariana Islands. Congratulations on hitting $50,040 for this year's Fun Run Fundraiser!
This money goes directly to Forest Park programs not supported monetarily through the district - including Accelerated Reader, Spanish, the ROOTS garden and outdoor classroom, teacher appreciation and so much more. These beloved programs are special to Forest Park and have significant benefits for our students. We would not be able to provide them without your generous support!
Congratulations to the following 2017 Fun Run award winners:
1st class to reach 100% participation: Keri Richmond's Kindergarten Class (Mrs. Richmond earns a gift card and the class will enjoy a pizza party on 10/20) Highest earning grade in the school - 1st grade (teachers will enjoy a lunch at Heights Taco & Tamale and the students receive a silly string party and an extra recess) Highest earning class - Keri Richmond's Kindergarten Class (class earns a popcorn party and an extra recess) Meeting our school-wide goal of $40,000 - your collective efforts raised over $50,000 so all Rangers will enjoy an ice cream sundae party and have a little fun duct taping Coach Smith to the wall
CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT! WE LOVE FOREST PARK!!!
