Thank you to everyone who collected and turned in Box Tops! Our goal this semester was to collect 12,500 Box Tops ($1250), and we hit the nail on the head! I encourage everyone to please keep up the good work, and let's do it again next semester! A very special shout out to each parent that utilized the app and sent me a screenshot! On November 14, we will celebrate 2017 Jane Mendel Reading day across LRSD. Please make plans to come and read to a class for 20-30 minutes between the hours of 8:30 am and 11:00 am by SIGNING UP HERE. Volunteers are welcome to bring a favorite book, choose from LRSD's suggested children’s storybooks, or take a few extra moments to choose from books the media specialist will have ready at the school. 2017 Reading Day will support the LRSD One District, One Book fall kickoff.
Be a Superhero! We need your help! Forest Park Elementary is collecting new underwear (sizes 2T - 12/14) for the children living at Our House, a shelter for the homeless and near homeless.
