Understanding the MAP Tests

Students recently came home with their scores from the winter session of MAP Growth testing.

To learn more about how teachers use MAP Growth scores to guide your student's education, and to discover what you can learn from these scores to help your student learn, read all about it HERE. This document also gives links to more resources from NWEA, the not-for-profit behind this widely used program.

MAP Growth is a computer-adaptive test that measures what students know, regardless of their grade level. It also measures growth over time, allowing you to track your child’s progress throughout the school year and across multiple years. We encourage you to get familiar with MAP Growth, and learn how you and your child's teacher can make the most of this important tool.
